Doors will open approximately 15 minutes prior to an event. Returns will go on sale only once an event has sold out. A £2 handling fee is charged on all resold tickets. In the rare situation where an author or illustrator is unable to attend, the performer may change accordingly.

Young Children
Young children must be accompanied by an adult at all events – prices are kept low to allow for this. The Daily Telegraph Bath Festival of Children’s Literature maintains a Child Protection Policy but we cannot act in loco parentis or take responsibility for wandering children.

Tickets At The Door
Tickets may be available on the day close to the start time of an event, at the venue, if the event in question has not already sold out. Such sales are cash only and can be purchased up to half an hour before the event start time. At all other times tickets can be purchased from the Box Office.

Signings
Waterstone’s Booksellers will be selling books at most events. At many events there will be an opportunity to get a signed book afterwards. For some guests, however, due to the size of the audience, this is likely to take some time. So please be prepared for a long wait! If you do bring a book from home, please try not to bring your whole collection!

Book Dealers and Collectors
Festival staff reserve the right to ask adults unaccompanied by children, or adults who bring with them books not bought from the official festival bookseller, who wish to have books signed after events, to go to the back of the final queue. Authors and Illustrators will sign such books at their discretion.
